At Chance Alive International, our community engagement involves training
diverse Community Aid Workers (CAWs), including doctors, nurses, social
workers, caregivers, and others. They undergo basic Psychosocial Intervention
Techniques training, enabling them to support community members in need.
Collaborating with local health institutions, child protection facilities, and
women’s welfare groups, we utilize existing structures to reinforce a healthy
psychosocial environment. Together with stakeholders, we’ve crafted a toolkit for
Psychosocial First Aid (PFA), facilitating joint interventions with our trained
beneficiaries. Our role is to create a network of skilled individuals collaborating
to enhance child programs and better their communities.
